It's been a hell of a long time since I've written a journal and a lot has happened in that time, so let's dust off this account and get to it. I'm now approaching the end of my first year at University, having a great time and getting involved in lots of 3D modelling and animation projects. I finally feel like I'm getting into the field that I've yearned to be in for so many years and it feels great.

I have got a lot on my plate these days though, with University work taking priority as well as some side projects that I need to focus on. Life is moving fast as I'm having to keep up as best as I can. In light of all this, I've realised now that I just don't have the time for this old place anymore, I haven't been able to give it much attention for a long time now and I rarely find the time to make any fanart these days.

I joined DA when I was 13 way back in 2006 with this account, when this was a fun little place for me to post Sonic drawings and meet friends. I joined as a young boy and now as I become a young man, I can't ignore that times have changed and I can't fit DA into my life anymore.

So I guess this is me saying that I won't post much anymore. I'm not doing anything to the account (besides some housekeeping) though I'm going to have to close the curtains on some projects like the Wallpaper Project, I don't see myself ever getting around to making more, as much as I would like to. The one thing that I do still plan to post here in the future is that blasted SA Style tutorial, the one project that I've had in my mind for years and has always managed to alude me. Production has actually started on that (for the last time) but it's going to be a long road to completion. What with it being promised for so long, I want to make sure it's done properly and it's a worthwhile project. So, that is still to come in the future.

I'm still just as much of Sonic nut as I've ever been, just not a DA nut anymore. You can still find me over at The Sonic Stadium Message Boards as a regular and I'll be in attendance in July at Summer of Sonic 2012 as I am every year.

So, tutorial is to come and that's most likely all that is to come from me from now on.
I'm moving on to the next chapter of life.
